ارتفع عدد الإصابات المؤكدة بفايروس إيبولا في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية إلى 635, فيما سُجِلت 127 حالة وفاة.
وأفادت وزارة الصحة بجمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية في بيان بتسجيل ثماني حالات شفاء جديدة؛ سبع منها في نيانكوندي، وحالة واحدة في مونغبوالو, فيما بلغ إجمالي حالات الشفاء 30 حالة، بينما أتم 406 من المخالطين فترة المتابعة التي استمرت 21 يومًا بنجاح.
وفي سياق متصل، سُجِلت 19 حالة إصابة مؤكدة، وحالتي وفاة حتى الآن في أوغندا.
The number of confirmed Ebola virus cases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has risen to 635, with 127 recorded deaths.
The Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo reported in a statement that eight new recovery cases have been recorded; seven of them in Nyankonde, and one case in Mongbwalu, bringing the total number of recoveries to 30, while 406 contacts successfully completed the 21-day monitoring period.
In a related context, 19 confirmed cases and two deaths have been recorded so far in Uganda.
